Home / The House
A house built
on the hand
of the cloth.
Independent since 2009. Owned by the people who run it. Answerable to the lot, not a quarterly target.
Our story
ONE WAY INT'L CO.,LTD. began with a simple frustration. Our founders had spent a decade between buying offices and mill floors, and watched the same thing happen again and again: a beautiful sample approved in a showroom, a bulk delivery that bore little resemblance to it, and a production team left to make the difference disappear.
So in 2009 we set up in Central with one rule — sell nothing we have not handled. No drop-shipping from a catalogue, no cloth bought sight-unseen. We would stand between the loom and the line, vouch for the mill, and hold the bulk to the sample we approved.
Fifteen years on, that rule still runs the company. We have grown into mill programmes across seven countries and ship to thirty-one, but the work is unchanged: read the cloth, qualify the maker, protect the lot. Hong Kong gives us the logistics; the rest is judgement.
Three standards we will not bend
Handle before you sell
Every cloth in our book has been through our hands and our wash test. If we can't vouch for it, we don't offer it.
The bulk equals the sample
We retain a counter-sample for every order and measure the delivery against it. Approval is a contract, not a courtesy.
Tell the honest date
A lead time you can plan around beats an optimistic one you can't. We quote the date we can hold — and then we hold it.
The road so far
From the people who buy the cloth
Trusted across the line
“We've moved three seasons of shirting to ONE WAY. The colour is consistent lot to lot, and when something is tight on time they tell us early enough to actually do something about it.”
“They developed a linen-cupro union to match an archive piece we couldn't re-buy. It costed cleanly and the bulk was indistinguishable from the original. That's rare.”
“The counter-sample discipline is the difference. We approve a cut, and the delivery matches it. Our QC rejection rate dropped the season we switched.”
“For our recycled outerwear line we needed real GRS paperwork, not a verbal promise. ONE WAY had the documentation and the mill relationships ready to go.”
